Bringing one of Austin’s most beloved restaurants into the digital world
Maudie’s Tex-Mex is one of Austin’s most well known tex-mex restaurants with 7 locations serving thousands of Austinites per day. Maudie’s came to Workhorse with a website several years old and an understanding that they were missing an opportunity to better serve their customers, thereby achieving business growth.
Fresh off of a beautiful re-brand (Pentagram) that saw its logo, colors and menu evolve, the new website needed to be crafted to match this experience. Additionally, the new website experience needed to be built on an understanding of Maudie’s customer and operational needs. Our brand, customer experience and operational research process uncovered data and information used to start planning and mapping the new website. Audience needs mapping helped us pinpoint our ultimate user experience goals and provided a clear understanding and purpose for building the new website. The results of our initial strategy and planning transitioned into building the new user interface. Through our agile process of design, deliver and iterate, the new Maudie’s website was constructed.
